Over the course of MLK Weekend top high schools from the DMV and beyond compete on the court in exhibition match ups. The mission of the weekend is high level competition while educating players to leveraging sports to create opportunities through employment, philanthropy, policies and partnerships. Participants also tour the National Museum of African American History and Culture, as well as the Lincoln Memorial, where Dr. King delivered his “I Have a Dream” address in 1963.
